For the school science fair our class is recreating the periodic table. Everyone was assigned an element. I got given the element ‘Nobelium’ I did some research to find out something about it since I wasn’t very familiar with the element. I found out that Nobelium can be toxic, I also found out that Nobelium is named after Alfred Nobel. For my tile I made this:

Persuasive Writing 2024
This term we have been learning about Persuasive writing. here is my piece of Persuasive writing :
| Did you know dogs can run a bit faster than cats can? Hello I’m Aria and I’m here to talk about how I think dogs are better than cats.
Firstly, yes in some ways cats can be better, perhaps you don’t have to walk them unless they like walks, but when you go on walks with your dog (everyday hopefully) it’s quite fun, you can go for long walks on the beach, or around your neighborhood, or through the park. Secondly, another one, both dogs and cats vomit but google tells me that cats vomit more frequently than dogs. Thirdly, when a cat is trying to bring up a hairball, they may start retching, gagging, or acting like they are dry heaving and trying to vomit. Sometimes the sound they make is called a ‘cough-gag-retch’. Now that I’ve shown you why I think cats are better than dogs, can you tell me if you agree or disagree? |
