This week was my 3rd week at tech and this is a reflection of how it went.
The bus ride there was a bit noisy but I dealt with it. For tech I’m in group 8A and we do Product Design. I finished doing my key tab and now I’m on my coaster and it’s going really well. I think I will try to finish all six coasters next time.
I did 30 minutes on Duolingo for mahi a tahi! I learnt French, I learnt how to say hello (bonjour) I learnt how to say goodbye (adios) I learnt many things and I think I’m gonna do Duolingo each week!!
Falling off the canoe – they could drown and get stuck underneath the water by the canoe on top of them.
Jumping into water – not safe at all because they don’t know how deep the water is and there is no jumping sign.
Pushing a person into the water – they are wearing clothes that could get really heavy when they are wet so they could cause him to drown.
Jumping off rope when a person under you – you will land on top of them and both of them could drown and hurt themselves.
My fitness goal is run around the whole bike track with only stopping once. I will do this and once I have I will set another goal.
This week was our third week back at school, and it’s coming to an end. This week I went to tech for the first time in 2025. I got put in the product design group for tech. I forgot my teachers name because he never told us 🙁 that’s really all that happened this week, pretty boring. Next week I’m looking forward to seeing my friends again.
Today in maths Talei’s group did a multiplication test with 100 questions. I got 60/100 and I answered 60 questions. Next time I would l will try to focus on the task and try harder then last time.
This week was my first week back at Rawhiti School, I have to admit that I was a bit scared to be a year eight and have a bunch of new year sevens come into the class. I have made a few new friends and got back with my friends from previous years at school.
I feel like this week was very important because of meeting new people, getting to know the people in your groups, I am pleased I got to reconnect with some of my old friends.
It was hard to get back into the routine of getting up in the morning but I think this will get better.
For my soul surfer task I did research on the tiger shark.
Today, the 18th of October, my class and a few others started our action stations for this term. My friends and I chose to do “art” with Fi. Our group was learning how to shade our paper lightly. In my opinion I didn’t do such a bad job, and I’m proud of myself for doing a small thing.
